SATA backwards compatible?

Hello, I'm currently buying a new CPU, Mobo, ram, and video card with the intention of using my current PSU, DVD combo drive, sound card, and hard drives. Just a simple question that I do not know because I have been off the map for a while: Will my 10000RPM SATA 150 drives work on a newer SATA 3 bo...

Yeah, i saw that apache was a web server service and, if I'm not mistaken, it seems the above posted directions are meant to be done within some sort of GUI of the program? Yet, it's not "installed" on the machine and doesn't appear anywhere else but here (so no GUI)... nor does the machin...

CRC errors

I have a friend who has a network set up in a building for some friends apparently. He has a DSL line coming in running to a router and the router runs to four switching hubs where the lines from each room are connected. He claims that he has a constant problem with CRC errors and would like to fix ...

9600SE or 5200ultra?

Okay I'm debating on a system build for a friend who is a gamer but is going budget. Should I go with a 128MB 9600SE or a GeForce FX 5200/5200ultra? This decision will help determine the board I go with as well.

I have a nibbler and it works alright. but it takes forever to use and it slightly bends the metal on the case around where you are nibbling. It's also great for scratching paint jobs.

did you try booting with minimal hardware attached and then adding device by device? Does BIOS see it? Did you test your drives personally or are you assuming they work because they are new... that tends to be the case sometimes.

durring the boot press f8 to select from a list to boot from safe mode. If you are able to boot from safe mode then it is most likely a video driver problem or perhaps a simple resolution problem, which can be fixed in safe mode.... from what your're describing I would guess at a video driver or the...
