T o tell you the truth , I will pay a little more to buy from a good dealer, ( newegg, googlegear, and jncs).

I have an asus a7n266vm - works great and setup was easy.

Good thing because you HP power supply and case may not allow you to use another motherboard( very proprietary system) oh and you will need a new OS the hp one want load on a non hp board ( check their site for a work around.)

DDR ram (PC2100) is cheap right now, you may want to consider a a7n266-vm from asus and add a modem.

I have 3 monitors 1) Dell 2) hp 3) Xtreme flat KDS - the kds is 19 inch and it cost less than either of my other ones and performs quite well.

what do you have now, power supply? , video card? memory? and what are you planning to with the PC? gaming, office , internet? Then I can make an educated suggestion.

get a retail MSI video card, the cost maybe a little more but the free games package more than compensates for it.

Unless you over-clock like hell, just use the thermal pad that is already on your intel heatsink.
