I only wish that ATI would make drivers for *nix. Up till now XFree86 made thier own drivers for them.

ATI is still awesome though and nVidia doesnt make drivers for BSD which i use.

SuSe 8 is great for beginners because thier configuration tool is so good. 8.1 is coming out in a few days and it should be good. After using that for a while use Gentoo. Its the fastest and most stabel but nearly impossible to install.
