Interesting. Whilst I have owned a number of AMD computers (always laptops) I have only ever built Intel PCs. So this is going to be a new thing for me. Which motherboard and processor combo?

Hi I have just started to build a PC. It will be a mid range gaming rig. I would like to spend around 100€ for a motherboard and about €200 on the processor. Then I will probably spend about €500 on a graphics card. I just got the case (a NZXT H510). One site I go on recommends these components: AMD...

I agree with Mr T. I bought my son a HP gaming laptop and whilst I got 4 good years out of it. It ran hot all the time and basically cooked itself. I Just finished building him a gaming desktop now and filled it full of fans. Gaming machines get hot.

Spare a thought for me Mr T. A brit living in Finland with permanent residency based on the UK being in the EU. I wasn't even allowed to vote :D I had the same issue, a Scot living in England, could not vote in our own referendum on Scottish independence... :D The thing is now though it is all done...

It can be good in a way to give another email or phone number when you setup a new email account. Then if someone hacks you, you have a chance to recover it. I use gmail and recommend it. They do collect data about you but that's not a big issue for me as I have a pretty bland ordinary life. If you ...
