Who do you think made Firefox? The Mozilla.org Foundation. :) Firefox is one of the Mozilla broswers, and so has that nice feature. But my problem wasn't in any browsers, my problem was in other applications that don't have that feature. I'm not sure why people automatically thought it was in my bro...

Ok, I fixed it, and here's what I did: I used WinRAR to extract the font files out of my i386 folder from the CD I manually replaced the TTF files -- Still had problems, so I did the same for the FON files Deleted the fonts cache file, rebooted Strange font problems gone. :-) Surely there's any easi...

I need some help restoring the Windows fonts to default. I found some instructions on how to restore default fonts from cab files for 95 and 98 at the MS Knowledgebase , but besides the basic steps I'm pretty sure most of the other info isn't correct. Absolutely positive those are the same font size and resolution-- the first one was from a screenshot taken for somebody shortly before I added in some fonts. This isn't in Mozilla, so holding ctrl and scrolling has no effect on the font size (I love that little trick, though!). This is all so very ...

WinRAR is free enough-- it never makes you pay for it. I tried 7zip and it was nothing but trouble for me, so I stuck with WinRAR.

Well, a bit a go I had some problems with Windows cruft . I took the plunge and re-installed, and even got myself sp2 this time around.
