If you thought the exterior of this case was unusual just have a look on the inside. This case features a modular design that works very well. With this form factor it’s almost a given that it would have some kind of modular design. All of the drive bays are removable and have anti-vibration features for the 3.5 inch drive bays. There is also support for 2 SSDs. You also have the option to mount up to two 5.25 inch external drives and one 3.5 inch external drive.
With the ability to take most of the case apart you will have plenty of room with which to work. The most important thing to remember is that this is a small form factor, so you need to plan your build out carefully. A modular power supply is almost a requirement with a case like this. You also need to keep in mind that your CPU cooler has a height limit of 90mm. This will limit your choices a bit, but with the provided cooling you really won’t need a monster heat-sink. Water cooling really isn’t going to be an option with this case either. There really isn’t enough room to be able to properly mount a radiator and a reservoir.
Another thing to keep in mind is cable management. The better your cable management is the better your airflow will be to keep your components cool. This is going to take some forethought and planning when you are assembling your system. This case has some great cooling features; you just need to make sure your installation is able to take advantage of them. If you have the time and patience, this case will provide you with years of solid use.
