Thermaltake Armor A30 Case Review

As you can see there was quite a bit of planning that went into the look of this case. Unfortunately you are limited to a CPU cooler height of 90mm and a graphics card length of 350 mm. This case has a very futuristic appearance to it, and will appeal to a wide range of enthusiast users. The way this case was designed just makes it ideal for modding as well.

The first thing that stands out is the shape of this chassis. It has a very nice rectangular shape that sits horizontally on the desk rather than sitting upright like most cases. Due to the orientation of the motherboard, and the placing of the windows, you can get a great view of your video cards and CPU heat-sink. That is if you don’t have any other expansion cards that will block your cards from view. This case has great ventilation. This is a necessity for this size of case, especially if you plan on using some powerful hardware.

The front of the case has a very nice angular look to it. It’s also well ventilated, and has a 90mm intake fan. On the top of the case you have an angled surface with a large 230mm exhaust fan. This is perfect for removing the hot air from your components. On the rear of the case you have two 60mm exhaust fans to remove the hot air from your CPU cooler. Once the machine is powered on you will notice that the top and front fan have blue LEDs. The rear expansion slots are also ventilated, along with the portion of the case located next to the power supply. This case has four rubber feet to prevent vibrations and they won’t mark the surface of your desk. Aside from the rubber feet the bottom of the case is plain.

This case has a host of great features. The most obvious of which is its size. This is a very portable case that can still fit graphics cards up to 350mm in length, as well as a standard ATX power supply. This case also comes with plenty of fans
