I have to tip my hat off to Sapphire for one thing on this card. While the Toxic is already overclocked and reached over 1GHz in clock speed, this card was able to reach nearly the same clock speed easily. Cooling on the card is exactly the same as the Toxic version of this card and if you wish to take it up into high clock speeds you can. Default temperatures were at 35C which is very cool for a HD 6870 card and under load it reached 53C, which is much cooler than the standard HD 6870 running at the same conditions. If you are looking for a HD 6870, that runs cool, is overclockable and yet still affordable, the Sapphire Vapor X hits the spot.
