HAWX2 is one of those games that make you wonder how much more they can improve games visually. The game uses Tessellation in the terrain giving up to 1.5 million polygons for the terrain alone and has wonderful aircraft models that come close to the real thing as you can get. Playing the game on the HD 6870 Vapor-X card is a great experience with high frame rates throughout the resolution spectrum.
The next game I want to talk about is the number one selling game of 2010 in terms of consoles and PC, Call of Duty Black Ops. This game is based upon the COD MW2 engine and uses DirectX 9.0 features to provide an excellent storyline and atmosphere. The HD 6870 is able to play this game at 1920x1200 with 8x FSAA and 16x AF with great frame rates. This card is designed for DirectX 11 titles.
