The first thing I need to say about the BIOS is that the instructions for it aren’t in the included quick installation guide. To find the instructions you need to use the installation disk. Download the included PDF file and you will find a full explanation of the BIOS. This board comes with an American Megatrends BIOS. At the Main screen you see just the most basic information. The total memory installed and the user access level. You can also set the time and date from this screen. Next is the advanced screen. At this screen you have the ability to set up all of your hardware configurations. This also has your hardware monitor as well. Next is the Chipset screen. This screen allows you to configure your north and south bridges. This is where you can also set up your AMD power express configuration. Next is the Boot menu. This is where you set up which drive you plan to use as your primary. This screen also lets you set up your SATA configuration. Lastly is your Security menu. This is where you have the opportunity to set up your passwords.
