Sapphire HD5770 Flex 1GB Video Card Review

The idea of three monitor gaming has captured my attention since the release of the Matrox Parhelia 8 years ago. Unfortunately, with the exit of Matrox from the gaming graphics card market no video cards have supported Surround gaming until the release of the HD 5 series from ATI last year. This series of cards have the distinction of requiring a DisplayPort monitor or active adapter to use three monitors, an expensive proposition. The FleX Edition card allows the use of up to three monitors without using an adapter, or four using the DisplayPort making this an excellent choice for business professionals wanting more screen space, or a gamer wanting to play on three screens, for a reasonable price of $169.99. Sapphire has added excellent value to an excellent video chip.

Sapphire once again scores a hit with their new ATI Radeon 5770 Flex, a 1GB gaming solution aimed at the mid level gamer and priced quite right!
