Contents

  • Sapphire Edge HD2 Mini PC
  • 1 x HDMI Cord
  • 1 x HDMI to DVI Adapter
  • 1 x Power Cord
  • 1 x Standing Mount
  • 1 x VESA Mount (for mounting on walls)
  • Sapphire Quick Installation Guide
  • Sapphire Edge HD2 Mini PC CD

I have to say it is definitely one of the more aesthetically pleasing small PCs that I have seen. It’s very slim and sleek with a nice rubber texture all around. The dimensions are 5.6’’ (L) x 0.8’’ (W) x 7.4’’ (H) (14.2 cm (L) x 2.1 cm (W) x 18.9 cm (H)) and I can definitely see small business upgraded their really old computers for these. It has around the same thickness of my hand and is not much bigger than my hand either. It also some curves around the sides so it’s just not a square which gives its own design.

Features

  • 4 x USB 2.0 ports
  • 1 x HDMI port
  • 1 x VGA cable
  • 1 x LAN port
  • 1 x DC-In
  • 1 x Headphone/Speaker port
  • 1 x Microphone port

There are two of the USB 2.0 ports at the front and rear of the PC. You have to pull out a tab in the front but they definitely still give enough for two USB drives/plugs to be plugged in. And even though there is a LAN port this Edge HD2 Mini PC comes with wireless capabilities just in case. This makes the PC very versatile and useable in almost any atmosphere. However, I didn’t like the fact that they had a HDMI to DVI adapter but no extra DVI cable. The adapter is too short to be plugged into another monitor and I think they should have included that extra cable. And I do not understand the reason for the CD. There is no CD drive with this PC so I am still very confused as to why they give you a CD.

Even though Black Friday is around the corner, buying a full tower PC can be expensive for any individual. Buying premade ones at Best Buy or Frys can still start around $200 dollars and building a PC from scratch is becoming a scarce skill these days.
