Intel includes a modified version of their custom BIOS for their Burrage board. It is split into Main, Configuration, Performance, Security, Power, Boot, and Exit Submenus. The Main Menu is where the BIOS Version, Processor Type, active processor cores, and clock frequencies are displayed.  System Memory, the date and time is also here.

The Configuration menu is where the CIR, the Audio, the LAN, the USB and the Firewire are enabled or disabled. The Power menu is where the SpeedStep, CPU C State, OS ACPI C2 Report and the system power options are located. The Performance submenu is where the tweaking and overclocking of the board is done. Here you can set the Turbo Boost multipliers, increase the base clock, set memory speeds, and change the voltage of the system. Using the overclocking options I was able to reach over 4GHz on air.

The new 2nd gen Core CPUs offer embedded graphics, lower power consumption, better performance and low temps that allow superior overclocking than anything yet seen, what’s not to like?
