Aivia’s new gaming mouse is a great first step into the gaming market of mice. The M8600 offers great features and accessories that are unparalleled by other gaming mice. However, there are some adjustments that Aivia should make to future products. The transition between wired and wireless mode was poorly executed. It was both frustrating and inconvenient. And the rear end of the battery for the mouse should really not have been sharp. This made the mouse very uncomfortable over long periods of use. Although, there are some great features that this mouse offers such as an extremely long gaming life, easy to use GUI, and great tracking.
The battery life of this mouse is definitely superior to any other gaming mouse in the market. With up to 100 hours of gaming, this mouse performs better than the Logitech G700 and Razer Mamba. The GUI was great and easy to use. You could customize any button on the mouse and with its 32KB of onboard memory; it was easy to create a wide range of macros for various profiles. It had great tracking and instant response with its twin-eye laser. I never experience any loss of connection or stickiness in the mouse. Overall, I think this mouse performs very well against great gaming mice from Logitech and Razer because it offers great features and optimum performance. The Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse from Gigabyte is a great mouse that is more than capable of improving your performance and experience during hours upon hours of gaming. It is priced around $104 dollars US, and is a great first step into the gaming market of mice for the Aivia name.
