GIGABYTE 880GMA-UD2H Review

Tue, 2010-09-28 13:40 -- Elric Phares

One of the things that the 880GMA-UD2H has over most of its competitors is a 2nd PCI Express x16 slots. Most 880G motherboards have a single PCI Express x16 slot but the 880GMA-UD2H motherboard has a single slot for x16 operation and a single x16 slot for x4 operation, allowing two ATI video cards to be installed in CrossfireX mode.  The one concern with the slots is on spacing but the installation of two 5770s or HD 5830s that are single slot would provide excellent performance. The I/O on the back of the board has all of the connections one would expect for a HTPC, making this board a good choice for those users wanting a quiet, fast system with integrated graphics.

If you are an AMD fan check out the new 880GMA-UD2H from Gigabyte, its aimed to please the media crowd.
