Gammatech Durabook D14E Laptop Review

If you have ever dropped a laptop, or dropped liquid such as water or soda on your laptop, one of the issues has been that they tend to break the laptop whether breaking it apart or causing damage to internal components. One time, I accidentally stepped on my laptop and had nice black streaks across a cracked screen where the LCD screen broke.

There are also people that need a rugged laptop for use in a construction site, or for military or police work that can’t use a normal laptop due to the harsh realities of the job.  Rugged notebook computers are not a new idea with many laptops designed for heavy-duty use on the market. There is a market for these rugged computers and a company called Gammatech specializes in the rugged computer business. Today I’m taking a close look at the Gammatech D14E laptop that is designed to be one of the most rugged laptop money can buy with a large storage capacity.
