ASUS P7P55 WS SuperComputer Review

ASUS uses the American Megatrends AMIBIOS modified slightly for their own purposes. The main screen is split into Main, Ai Tweaker where the tweaking of the motherboard is done, Advanced, Power, Boot, Tools and Exit submenus. The main menu has the Time, Date, Language, detected SATA devices, Storage Configuration and System Information. The Storage Configuration screen is where the RAID is set.

The Ai Tweaker menu is where you will spend most of your time when overclocking the system. The menu is split into Ai Overclock Tuner, the Ratio CMOS setting and enabling the various features of the CPU including SpeedStep and Turbo Mode. I’ve broken down the performance tuning you can do into the following chart. I was able to overclock the Core i5-661 to 4.01GHz which is great, but workstation boards care more for stability than pure overclocking:
