Motherboards.org Editor's Choice Winner

When we hear the magic word "motherboard", one of the first names in our minds will be ABIT. ABIT was the first motherboard announced as an "Overclocker's Dream" board. They are the company who put the first reliable jumperless setup on the table. When I think of buying a new motherboard for myself, first I choose the chipset, then I choose my motherboard from two manufacturers, and of course one of them is ABIT. Keywords are stability and overclocking. They design their motherboards according to those keywords and the components on their motherboards are always top-notch.

Among the ABIT motherboards we tested, most of the AMD CPU oriented boards got the Editor's Choice. All of their first releases on their models include RAID options. This option makes ABIT the hardcore user's choice, maybe not for RAID mirroring and striping, but for being able to hook up 4 master IDE devices and up to 8 total IDE devices.

Maybe this review is a little bit late because KR7A has already been announced by ABIT and it includes most of the new technologies on-board. The KG7-RAID is already on the market and our review provides useful information about this product.
