The newest chipset for AMD and one of the top manufacturer's product is on the market now. You want the works on features, don't think too much. Six USB 2.0 ports, three Firewire ports, 5.1 Sound with optical sound output, 10/100 LAN connection were great.

If you want the looks for your glass-sided, ice-neon lighted system? This blue colored board crowned with a gold colored chipset fan and purple memory slots is for you.

It is a very stable system. Everything worked so smooth, not even a glitch. Dual BIOS and boot block protection is a work of art. But they should change that DOS BIOS flash utility before it causes any harm.

It has the best package you can expect from a motherboard. Performance was optimal but I was expecting a little bit more performance from KT400. VIA tend to revise their chipsets silently when there are problems. There are rumors around that VIA has a new revision for KT400 that performs better. I don't think it will take too long them to switch to new revision.

This is the first board we tested with KT400 and it was one of the top AMD boards reviewed on this site.
