Asus is the long reigning top dog of motherboard manufacturers and has been the number one seller worldwide in the OEM and channel market for over a decade. Unless you are very green to the computer world you have heard of or used an Asus board and are most likely familiar with their name in one way or another.

We have not done many reviews on Asus motherboards due to their lack of editorial support here in the USA but our good friends at www.jncs.com were kind enough to provide us with one for our testing purposes, thanks guys. VIA's KT266A chipset has been adopted into many successful motherboards such as Shuttle's AK31a and MSI's KT266 Pro 2 both very nice motherboards themselves. Can the Asus board keep up or surpass its peers in this arena? Read on and see the whole review of the Asus A7V266-E.
