The 8X AGP spec has not really shown all that much gusto as far as performance gains but there is a gain and software programs will have to start catching up to further enhance the whole 8X experience. There is no doubt that the MSI VTD8X is a solid 3D VGA solution with plenty of features and options including a large software bundle that should appeal to users of many different avenues.
I was impressed at how well the card supported many games without problems and that the new drivers offer the user many settings options for both the Direct-3D and Open-GL standards. The ability to turn all the cards features up to high and still function well in games is always a plus in my book. Overall MSI has come up with a winner that entitles them to get the well earned Editor's Choice award. Good job MSI.
