Introduction

When most people hear the word SEGA they immediately associate it with video games, and if you’re in my age group, an image of Sonic the Hedgehog will probably pop up before your eyes.

SEGA is one of few original video game manufacturers still around and the reason for that is quality of the products that they release. Games like Medieval II – Total War, Crazy Taxi, Virtual Fighter 5 and all the Sonic titles helped SEGA remain a dominant factor in the world of video games.

And now, SEGA is at it again, just releasing their latest title, Universe at War – Earth Assault. Partaking in the genre of RTSs (Real Time Strategy), Universe at War – Earth Assault will try to dominate all the other mediocre RTSs released lately, but has SEGA maintained its high standards or have they taken the easy road to mediocrity? Well I can’t answer that question until I put down this review and try the game. And now that it finally finished installing here we go.
