Articles :: Bapco's Sysmark 2007 Doesn't Work :: Motherboards.org
Doc Overclock · 08-13-2007 · Category: Tech-planations SYSmark 2007 System ErrorsIt does not matter which OS you use, Windows XP or Windows Vista, they both display system errors that cannot be eliminated, and there is no information on the BAPCo site to address and fix these errors either. Something called a Harness error is one of the main culprits that keeps this test from ever running and the only positive side is at least this error is right at the start so you do not waste hours just awaiting a later failure in the program. Another pain in the PC is a Sony Media player error which halts the installation of the program or gives system errors right as you run SYSmark 2007 in Windows XP, we have tried removing all audio codecs and programs to get this to install with no luck in over 10 different systems. This is just plain downright wrong and with no tech-support impossible to fix. We have followed the advice given on the BAPCo website to find a useable workaround or fix for their test suite software, but their instructions have proved to be of no value, especially when errors are being found that are not even discussed there. When there is no solution to be found it gets to be a bit old trying to resolve issues by trial and error, this also wastes many hours of precious time that can never be recovered. Neither Windows XP SP2 nor Windows Vista proved to be a stable running environment for the SYSmark 2007 test suite. These are the errors screens we could not resolve in Windows XP. These are screen shots of the error codes that we could not resolve in Windows Vista. We followed all known instructions to correct and resolve these issues. ContentsDiscuss This Article
